President-Elect

1 Year Term before becoming President

Responsibilities

  • To assume the responsibilities of the president’s in their absence or whenever requested by president.

  • To perform those duties which are required of him/her/they by vote of the Executive Council.

  • To make arrangements for and co-coordinate summer business meetings. This work will begin prior to assuming Presidency July 1st of following year.

  • Term of office shall be one year beginning July 1 of current year

Treasurer-Elect

1 Year Term before becoming Treasurer

Responsibilities

  • To assist the Treasurer in preparing an annual budget.

  • Learn how to manage financial accounts.

  • Learn how to manage/file documents for annual tax filing and maintaining non-profit status

  • Term of office shall be one year beginning July 1 during the second year of the
    Treasurer’s term.

  • Treasurer’s term is held for two years.

Secretary

1 Year Term

Responsibilities

  • To take the minutes of the proceedings of the Executive Council and the business meetings.

  • To assume responsibility for ordering stationery and for making changes on the letterhead as required.

  • To revise the Bylaws and Policies and Procedures when changes are made and send revised copies to all current members.

  • Term of office shall be one year beginning July 1.

What can I run for?

Elections will be open from April 1st to May 10th this year.

Do you know of an awesome school psychologist that would be a wonderful addition to one of these MASP leadership positions? Nominate them here during the submission window.



Nominations for elections are open from October 1st – March 20th each year.

Those nominated will be notified by a MASP leadership representative to determine their interest in running for elections.
 

If you prefer to vote by paper, a paper ballot can be mailed to you. You may request a paper ballot by emailing recruitment@masponline.us. All requests for a paper ballot must be submitted and returned to the Membership Involvement Committee Chair five business days prior to May 10th.
